My job as a divorce concierge is to help you navigate both the procedural and emotional processing aspects of your divorce—minimizing time, cost & emotional impact—with clarity, connection and collaboration.

Let’s move through this together.

Help is here (and you deserve it).

As a divorce concierge, I am here to help you through your unique divorce experience. My goal when working together is to provide solution-oriented coaching, support, and expert referrals that are grounded in clarity, connection, and collaboration.

My work is client-directed and I am deeply committed to helping you save on time, costs, and the overall emotional impact of your divorce

My services are for you if you feel like:

Legal services are necessary in the divorce process, but it doesn’t provide the necessary emotional support you need.

Therapy is incredibly helpful through divorce, but rarely covers co-parenting communication strategies or conflict management that’s specific to your divorce.

Self-help content is promising, but it isn’t tailored to you or your divorce, and lacks a values-based strategic plan.

Divorce places an unbelievable strain on your emotions and capacity. Your already small (let’s face it, nonexistent) window of free time gets eaten up by the legal logistics, trying to keep yourself from spiraling, and showing up for your kids. That’s a tall order!

The biggest and best thing you can do for yourself during this time of struggle?

Key features of our work together

  • Conflict Management

Even the most amicable divorces involve some level of conflict. Emotions run high, and it’s easy to get stuck in patterns that cloud judgment. I will help you navigate those intense moments with clarity and confidence so you can make practical decisions that support your long-term wellbeing.

Together, we will develop conflict management strategies that not only support you through the divorce or separation process, but also lay the groundwork for a healthier, child-centred co-parenting relationship with your soon-to-be ex.

  • Trust through education

I believe trust is earned through education, clarity, and real support. That’s why I focus on providing clear, practical, and digestible information about divorce, single parenthood, and life after marriage.

I demystify the divorce process by breaking down the legal and emotional complexities, collaborating with vetted professionals, and sharing guidance that empowers you to make confident, informed decisions.

  • Emotional Wellbeing

You’re parenting through heartbreak, buried under emotional rubble, searching for answers that just aren’t coming. I remember that feeling. The overwhelm is real. The silence can be deafening. And it’s easy to feel completely alone. Does this feel familiar?

I’m here to help you process the emotional weight of divorce so you can begin to breathe again. And once you can breathe again, you can think clearly. With the right support, you can make the most of your legal team’s time and resources, keeping emotions from driving the legal process and reducing unnecessary stress, cost, and confusion.

  • Focused on What Comes Next

I understand first-hand that this process goes beyond surviving divorce. That’s why I support you through the emotional and logistical aftershocks, like co-parenting challenges, blended families, and navigating milestones post-separation.

The goal is lasting transformation in addition to short-term relief. Let’s get you moving positively forward as a single person, separate from your marriage.

  • Collaboration Over Consultation

My approach is client-directed, value-based, solution-focused, and grounded in collaboration. Together, we shape a path forward that reflects your priorities and what matters most to your family.

This collaborative model invites you to engage in flexible thinking and an open mindset, helping you move away from rigid, positional thinking and toward common ground.

You will learn how to participate in collaborative problem solving, fostering healthier communication and laying the groundwork for interest-based agreements that are sustainable, respectful, and family-focused.

About Thea Moreau

Through my own experience with divorce, and the deep knowledge I’ve gained over the past 15 years, I’ve developed a unique, compassionate approach grounded in a range of methods: from healing modalities and mindfulness training to extensive divorce coach training. This foundation gives me the flexibility to meet you where you are and walk alongside you every step of the way.

My goal is to support you (and your family) through every phase of the journey—from preparation to recovery, from heartbreak to healing. You don’t have to face this alone. I’m here to help.

It’s normal to have questions about the divorce process.

Let’s see if I can answer some of them here.

  • There is no single best way—it depends on your circumstances, finances, relationship with your ex, and priorities around privacy, cost, and speed. I can help you understand your options so you can make an informed choice.

  • Yes. I maintain a network of trusted professionals and can refer you to people who align with your needs and values. And if you want to find your own, that’s great! I can help you prepare with questions to prepare you for interviews with your prospective professionals.

  • I can’t tell you exactly who to hire, but I can help you figure out what kind of professional you need, prepare you with consultation questions, and share resources and referrals to trusted professionals. The final decision is yours—as it should be!

  • ADR stands for Alternative Dispute Resolution. It includes out-of-court options like mediation, arbitration, and collaborative law that help couples resolve divorce issues more cooperatively and often faster and more cost-effectively than litigation.

  • Yes. I trained with the Divorce Coach’s Academy group in Canada with their comprehensive ADR Divorce Coaching Program. However—my skills apply to both litigated and ADR cases.

  • It’s never too late to get help. Whether you’re just beginning or deep into the process, I can help you organize your next steps, find clarity, and offer support.

  • Yes. While I’m based in Toronto Ontario, I work virtually with clients across Canada.

  • In the end, this decision is one that only you can make. However, I can help you understand the process, what’s involved, what it will look like financially and come up with an exit plan to help smooth out your transition.

  • A divorce concierge offers broader support than coaching alone. Alongside coaching, I provide resources, referrals, and practical guidance on everything from legal options to emotional processing, helping you navigate the whole process—from beginning to end.

  • No. A divorce coach/concierge cannot complete legal paperwork for you. I can help you understand what documents you’ll need (and where to find them), organize information, and prepare questions for your legal professional—this saves you time and money by using your lawyer’s time wisely and appropriately—but I’m not a legal professional and do not provide legal services.

  • I offer coaching and emotional support, but I am not a therapist. If you need therapy (which is a fantastic resource when you’re going through divorce), I can refer you to licensed mental health professionals.

  • No. As a coach, I do not communicate directly with your spouse or their lawyer. My role is to support you in preparing for and navigating those conversations yourself. I can help you with the skills and strategies—but communication needs to come directly from you/your legal professional.

Note: there are processes and tools that can be set up such as co-parenting communication apps that can help with this.

  • I share resources, books, and mindfulness tools to help kids cope with divorce, and can refer you to child therapists or specialists when needed.

  • Generally, no. While I can help you prepare for court and process the emotional toll, I do not attend court with clients. But I can be on call for emotional support on the day of, if that’s something that would help.
